For a small local Cyber Security firm based in the Netherlands, we are currently recruiting for a Senior and Medior Cyber Security Consultant. 

Information security isn’t just for “techies”—it's a responsibility that belongs to everyone. As the Security and Privacy Officer, you’re the go-to person and “face” of information security for our clients. You’ll stay on top of the security status and coordinate key measures and initiatives, working to raise everyone’s awareness, knowledge, and involvement in security matters (security engagement).

Working closely with your (technical) colleagues, you’ll support our clients in safeguarding against cyberattacks and limiting the impact of any security incidents. To do this, you'll rely on established security frameworks like ISO 27001 certifiable Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO 27002, NEN 7510, NCSC, DigiD 2.0, and other information security standards. Additionally, you’ll incorporate current (Wbp) and upcoming (AVG) privacy laws into all security strategies.

You’ll personally handle some procedural security tasks, coordinate responses to immediate threats, and manage any incidents. Together with your colleagues, you’ll lead projects to enhance security measures and adjust the ISMS to tackle emerging threats, operational changes, and new privacy laws.
